My Pregnancy Journal – Beat the Summer Heat

As per GMA televised “Highest temperature of 2014 (so far) recorded Friday, Mar 28 in Metro Manila – PAGASA’s weather station in Science Garden, Quezon City.”

35.7 degrees Celsius was recorded before 2 p.m. on Friday. However, due to the humidity, the temperature felt—or the heat index—reached up to 37.3 degrees Celsius.

And the question is… how to cope up or beat the summer heat?!

Everyone will agree that being pregnant in the Philippines during summer is difficult. Especially in my condition, I have to limit myself from eating sweet foods like halo halo, ice cream and the like (mostly desserts). Indulging in a shaded area with a not-so-cold chlorinated swimming pool feels like heaven =) lol!

Yes, being pregnant will not stop me from enjoying my two-piece swim suit… wink!
