the brown rice is delicious

My plan actually is to hire tricycle for Banaue viewpoint tour – rice terraces sightseeing, however since our itinerary is delayed we ride straight going to Sagada (fare P300 per pax). The companion of the jeepney driver (a Banaue licensed guide) drops us in an eatery for a late breakfast before we continue our 3 hours trip to Sagada.

After breakfast we stop-over in Banaue Rice terraces Main viewpoint – fortunately the driver and its companion are generous enough to lets us see and enjoy the beauty of Banaue before going to Sagada. I don’t know if this is their customs or we are just lucky 😀

Again we stop by in the Bay-yo Rice terraces viewpoint and continue our trip.
By 2:30 pm we arrived in Sagada, finally!

To summary:
11 hrs and 30 mins of Ohayami bus ride
almost 3 hrs of jeepney ride to Sagada

Please see my Sagada journal for continuation of Banaue-Sagada-Baguio Trip (holyweek 2013 edition).
